Heeeelp!!!

Lovely people, I really need your help!

I need to find a logo/drawing for my brochure-flyer, which to describe my work here for 9 months: street theatre on human rights. I'm not feeling really creative now and I need to do this till tomorrow morning :(

I don't want something formal, I would like a more funny or subtle idea. Pleaseeeeeee help meee!!! Anything that crosses your mind, word, image or anything, just reply and maybe with some brainstorming together, I'll have my logo :)

I had such a great time during this seminar.

Yesterday was my 1st day in the Elderly Care center, the people there are really old, about 90 years old.
Honestly, I didn't think they were this old, but I don't mind.
I work with a german volunteer, she's been working here since january, she helps me a lot.

Unfortunetalety, the people thereo only speak greek so I can't understand a word about what they saying.
My 1st greek's lesson is next week, so I hope shortly I will be able to communicate with the staff and of course the old people.
I'm pretty sure by learning even a basic word each day, I'm gonna be Ok to say what I mean.

I'm looking forward to be at the mid-term seminar with all of you and the trainers too :)

Hi girls!!

I think it´s clear, I miss you a lot.Here there are no girls!!

When arrived home, I had a surpraise....you must go to work on Sunday!
So Sunday morning went to do searching on the windmills.Fortunatly we didn´t saw anything, but when we came back saw a little bird with one wing broken, picked it up and carryed to home. After few hours "Paco" scaped from the carton box. So now he is resting on the sky or in the stomach of some cat...poor Paco

Paco´s latin name is Sitta europaea and his English name is Eurasian nuthatch.

Hey, sleepy people!

What s up and why no one is not updating the blog? You already forgot about other wonderful people that you met?

So, as I was saying, I fucking miss you and I know you miss my swearings also :p

I would like to share with you my first day in my new home/life, because when I entered the house I totally freaked out...yeah, I know you can't imagine me being freaked out and almost crying, but I'm a sensitive person inside my heart :p

I was alone in my room and something hit me like a punch in the stomach...the fucking feeling that I'm alone and this will be my life for 9 months. I was quite tired after the wonder week in Athens and this amplified my feelings, but as I told you, I totally freaked out. And I couldn't talked with my parents or friends (no phone, no internet).

Buuut I survived the first night and yesterday, being sooo sunny, I went to the beach, took the first swim in the Ionic sea, laying on a terrace with a glass of wine and a frappe and just relaxed...thinking of you, lovely people that I met. I tried to think what s everyone doing in the same time with me. During the night, I kept the beer tradition and with Agnesa and another latvian girl, we went to the beach drinking and making plans to try to visit you, people.

Well, it will be great if you would also share something with us, even in the worst english possible (or drink a beer before writting :p)or just post some pictures with you and your place.

Enjoy, lovely people and think of me from time to time or just come to visit me in this wonderful city!

The day began with an energizer at the conference hall. Then we got out of the hotel like free little birds. The way seemed to take us to Agios Antonios to the Evs organization EDRA. We said a friendly hello to them. They helped us a lot and we think that they are one of the best Evs organization in Athens. After we left there on the road we found a periptero and we asked to the girl her name and the name of her love ( Efi and Dimitris) In order to see the Tsolias and to learn the height of him we traveled to Sindagma to the parliament. We were lucky that we could see the interesting walking of Tsolias. Then we walked to the old parliament building and took some funny photos. After that we went to Akropolis in order to find Anafiotika and we had a success. You can see that in our beautiful photos. After the lunch our way took us back to the Sindagma station and with the help of locals we found the kreatsgora at Monastiraki. Very nice place. After a long walk we decided to look for the sympathic local people and we found some in Monastiraki at a café. We had a good conversation with Giannis Konstantinos and Paris. At the moment we are celebrating our good job at the café. We are happy and proud of us. Good job girls!
